FAQs

How do I send my first email?
Go to Mailings → New Mailing. Enter a Mailing Name, choose your recipient list under “To,” add a Subject, write your content, then click Send Now (immediate) or set Schedule for later.
What’s the difference between a Mailing and a Campaign?
A Mailing is a single email send to a list. A Campaign groups multiple mailings together so you can compare reporting across related sends.
How do I add contacts?
Add one contact at a time via Lists → Subscribers → Create, or import in bulk via Lists → Import using a CSV or TXT file (up to 50 MB).
What content editors are available?
Choose from HTML Editor (Advanced), Design Editor (Moderate), or Drag and Drop (Easy). You can also start from a saved Template.
How do I prevent emails from going to certain people?
Use Suppressions. For single addresses, use Global Email Suppression. For domains, use Global Domain Suppression. For hashed addresses, use MD5 Suppression. You can also select a suppression list in a mailing’s Suppress field.
What reports are available?
NextMail includes Opens, Clicks, Bounces, Account Activity, Domain Analysis, Compliance, GeoIP Tracking, Click Performance, Contact Activity, and Custom Reports—available under Activity and Campaign Reports.
How do I schedule a mailing for later?
In Create Mailing, set Schedule to “Schedule,” choose a date/time (Pacific Time), then proceed to confirm (the send button will reflect scheduling).
How do I test my email before sending?
Use Save and Test to send a test copy. You can also run Spam Check and use Preview for a browser-based render.
Can I reuse an email I’ve already sent?
Yes. Go to Mailings → Mailings, select a mailing (Draft, Sent, or Archived), and click Clone.
What file formats are supported for contact import?
CSV and TXT files are supported (max 50 MB). During import, you’ll map columns from your file to contact fields in the Field Map step.
